Join Kay from VA and Monica from CA to discuss recent developments in multi-state income and sales taxes as well as state tax trends. They will cover a variety of SALT topics including the Pass-through entity tax, sourcing of sales, MTC updates on PL 86-272, and other recent topics such as economic nexus, sales taxation of digital products, sales tax compliance pit falls.

Speaker BIO:
Kay has 25+ years of tax experience including private and public accounting practice areas. Serving several of Keiter’s larger corporate clients, she assists with tax provisions, State and local tax consultation, and income tax returns. She leads the Keiter’s multi state tax team, which is responsible for multistate tax filings, sales and use consultation, as well as audit and research support services. Kay serves a wide variety of industries, such as real estate, manufacturing, professional services, retail, and technology, and her clients rely on her to provide multi state tax planning and compliance services.
Monika has 25+ years of tax experience including multi-state income and sales tax. Her clients include companies in various industries including technology (software, SaaS, digital products), e-commerce, and manufacturing, among others. Monika’s firm specializes mostly in sales tax consulting and compliance, to include nexus & taxability reviews, retroactive remediation (i.e.;VDAs), audit support and assistance with M&A due diligence. She is proud to be a Past National President of AFWA.
