INVENTORY
As leadership changes from year to year, it can be difficult to keep track of all your chapter’s assets. Use this form to help keep track of your chapter’s communications inventory.
GRAPHIC STANDARDS
To ensure unified representation of the AFWA National brand, please refer to the Graphic Standards Manual when preparing any AFWA branded materials – this document includes your AFWA Font and Color Guide. Please contact National Headquarters should you have any questions regarding use and representation of the AFWA brand.
SOCIAL MEDIA
AFWA has a presence on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram. Your Chapter is encouraged to build a community on at least one of these social networks (Facebook is the most popular). AFWA Headquarters can provide a custom image for your Chapter’s profile image.

CHAPTER NEWSLETTER
While we don’t have a ready to use template for your Chapter Newsletter, we can offer a few tips:
- Use a mail service such as Constant Contact or MailChimp to help build your eNewsletter and manage your mailing list
- Include a monthly message from your Chapter President. This may include a general greeting and Chapter updates, or you may choose to write original content on a specific industry or professional development topic.
- Follow the AFWA National’s blog and re purpose our content in your own newsletter.
- Promote your upcoming Chapter events as well as any national events or webinars on the calendar.
- Be sure to provide contact information for feedback from members on programming topics, event ideas, or volunteer interest.
