Webinars

Chapter Leaders: Did you know that pre-recorded webinars can be used by chapters for CPE credit?

How?

  1. First select a webinar from the library.
  2. Identify a facilitator for the program.
  • In a live session, the facilitator introduces the topic, coordinates the discussion after the webinar’s conclusion, and facilitates any polling questions or other form of audience participation throughout the webinar.
  • In a virtual session, the facilitator interrupts the webinar 3 times to obtain input from attendees to ensure they are still engaged. Input can be in the form of polling questions or entering a response in the chat feature. For instance, at the onset, participants can be given 3 words, then throughout the session, asked to enter the 1st, 2nd, then 3rd key word into the chat feature.
  1. Verify that all attendees participated in all polls or chat entries and attended for the full webinar time (ex. 50 minutes minimum for a 1 CPE credit webinar.
  2. Adhere to all other CPE request requirements included in the checklist.
