Let’s face it; very few people really like/love networking. You’re probably one of them. Taking the time out of your busy schedule to go to an event with a bunch of people you barely know just so you can feel socially awkward isn’t fun.
This year’s recipients demonstrate a drive to take on challenges and strive for success. They are leaders in their companies and communities. They’ve earned the trust and respect of their clients and peers. And they show enthusiasm toward their career and the accounting and finance industry as a whole.
There were many times while studying that I was frustrated and burnt out. I could have easily given up. In the end I am so glad I didn’t. Obtaining my CPA license has been one of my best achievements!
