How Remarkable Women Lead

Wow! We received such an amazing response to the AFWA Book Club. Thanks to everyone who has signed-up, the Fall 2018 session is full! Since this is our first session hosting a national book club, we wanted to limit the participants – as we may have some kinks to work out along the way. However, we do plan to host additional Book Club sessions in the future, with unlimited participants. And we also plan to distribute resources to help you host your own Book Clubs within your local chapters.

Sign up on the list below to join a mailing list to be the first to know about any future Book Club announcements. And thank you again for the overwhelming interest in this new initiative.

_____________

Participation in the AFWA Book Club is FREE for AFWA Members (purchase of book not included), and we have only 30 openings in this first session.

The Book Club will kick-off on September 6 and run through October 18. Throughout the 6 weeks readers will participate in 3 call-in video discussions, engage in a Facebook group, and receive activities via email updates.

  • Thru September 5: Sign-up and purchase your book —- don’t wait, limited to 30 participants!
  • September 6: Welcome and Kick-Off call-in
  • September 27: Half-way check-in call-in
  • October 18: Book end review call-in

About the Book

How Remarkable Women Lead: A Breakthrough Model for Work and Life
By Joanna Barsh and Susie Cranston

Based on five years of proprietary research, How Remarkable Women Lead speaks to you as no other book has, with its hopeful outlook and unique ideas about success. It’s the new “right stuff” of leadership, raising provocative issues such as whether feminine leadership traits (for women and men) are better suited for our fast-changing, hyper-competitive, and increasingly complex world.

Find yourself in its pages and emerge with a practical plan for breaking through at both work and life.
